1) The site or warehouse for the preservation of square pipe products should be located in a clean and well-drained place away from the factories and mines that produce harmful gases or dust. Remove weeds and all odds and ends and keep square tubes clean.

　　2) No corrosive materials such as acid, alkali, salt or cement shall be piled together in the square pipe warehouse. Different types of steel should be stacked separately to prevent confusion and prevent contact corrosion.

　　3) Correct storage method of large section steel, rail, disgraced steel plate, large diameter square pipe, forging etc. which can be stored in open air

　　4) Small and medium-sized steel, wire rods, reinforcing bars, medium-diameter square pipes, steel wires and wire ropes can be placed in well-ventilated shed, but the correct storage method of square pipes must be put under the upper bracket.

　　5) Some small steel products, thin steel plates, strips, silicon steel sheets, small-diameter or thin-walled square pipes, all kinds of cold-rolled and cold-drawn steel products and high-priced and easily corrosive metal products can be stored in storage.

　　6) Square-tube warehouse should be selected according to geographical conditions, generally using ordinary closed warehouse, that is, a roof with enclosing walls, tight doors and windows, with ventilation device of the warehouse

　　7) Square-tube warehouse should pay attention to ventilation in sunny days, close damp-proof in rainy days, and keep proper storage environment.
